Job Description

SO/ Sotogrande, located in the beautiful coastal town of Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales & Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the luxury hospitality industry while developing your skills in sales and marketing.

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote SO/ Sotogrande's services and amenities
  • Support the sales team in generating leads and following up with potential clients
  • Help create engaging content for various social media platforms to increase brand awareness
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events
  • Conduct basic market research and analyze data to support decision-making processes
  • Assist in preparing sales and marketing materials, including presentations and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for improving marketing efforts
  • Support the team in maintaining customer relationships and enhancing guest experiences
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to sales and marketing operations

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (An agreement with school is necessary)
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, and the hospitality industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of Spanish is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their marketing applications
  • Basic understanding of marketing and sales techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and eager to learn with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creativity and willingness to contribute innovative ideas
