Room Attendant

ibis Budget Auckland Central, located just off Queen Street in the heart of Auckland's CBD, is a busy ‘budget’ hotel servicing a mixture of corporate and leisure short stay guests and long stay residents. With 144 comfortable rooms, featuring balconies and kitchenette facilities we are currently recruiting for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Housekeeping Team.

As a Housekeeping Attendant you will work independently, and as part of a team servicing our guest rooms and cleaning public spaces. Having high standards of cleanliness and also ensuring corridors and public areas are spotless. 

• Clean, dust and vacuum guest rooms and public spaces to the highest standard
• Replace towels, linen and guest amenities according to room type requirements
• Check room equipment and report any faults
• Respond to guest requests efficiently and with a genuine smile

• Friendly, helpful and positive attitude
• Physically fit, energetic and able to lift at least 20kg
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and make use of your excellent time management skills
• Ability to work a variety of hours which includes weekends across a 7 day/week roster
• A keen eye for detail and PASSION about quality and presentation
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand
