Job Description

Work at the commercial heart of one of the world’s leading hospitality groups.

Accor is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic revenue management intern to gain valuable experience in optimizing revenue performance across a portfolio of iconic hotels and brands. In this role, you will support the team in driving revenue growth, assisting with reporting, analyzing performance data, and learning best practices while working with sector-leading technology. Role overview:

As a Portfolio Revenue Management Intern, you will provide vital support to our Revenue Management team to optimize revenue performance across a portfolio of 4 properties. You will assist in system operations, reporting, and data analysis to drive revenue insights and help maintain system and data quality.

This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in revenue management, collaborate with various departments, and develop skills within a supportive and dynamic environment. You will receive guidance and learning opportunities to help build your career as a Heartist®.

Reporting line: This role reports directly to the Cluster Director Revenue Management

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, highlighting key performance metrics for review by the team.
  • System Operations: Maintain data accuracy and quality within Revenue Management and Distribution systems, ensuring optimal system hygiene
  • Market Insights: Assist in collecting and analyzing market data to benchmark performance and identify trends
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with the Revenue, Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing materials and reports for Revenue Management meetings.
  • Inventory & Pricing Support: Provide support in updating pricing and inventory strategies across various platforms under the guidance of the Cluster Director Revenue Management
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops, including Accor’s Academy, to enhance your skills and understanding of revenue management principles.

What you bring:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a passion for working with data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus
  • Interest in revenue management and hospitality
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English
  • Availability to work for a minimum of 6 months
  • To be eligible to live and work in Cape Town, South Africa
