Job Description

Job Summary

At Raffles & Fairmont Doha, we curate exceptional dining experiences that embody luxury, sophistication, and world-class service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring unparalleled guest experiences, and maintaining the highest service standards. You will oversee the team, drive business performance, and create a refined atmosphere that aligns with the prestige of our brands.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Maintain exceptional food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to refine menus and enhance the dining experience.
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage reservations, table assignments, and special guest requests with precision.

Guest Experience & Service Quality

  • Lead by example in delivering warm, personalized, and anticipatory service.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure VIPs, special occasions, and loyalty members receive extraordinary attention.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high-performing team committed to service excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee team scheduling and ensure optimal staffing levels for seamless operations.

Sales & Financial Performance

  • Drive revenue by implementing upselling strategies and promoting premium offerings.
  • Manage budget, control costs, and optimize financial performance while maintaining quality.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure efficiency.
  • Analyze sales data and guest feedback to refine service strategies and enhance profitability.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a luxury dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining service, food & beverage operations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-profile guests and VIP clientele with discretion.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
