Job Description

As the Restaurant Manager at Bittersweet, your core responsibilities include:

  • Develop, manage, and analyse the outlet budget, conducting monthly reviews of revenue and expenditure forecasts.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, including business plan development and profit enhancement initiatives in collaboration with kitchen and Marketing teams.
  • Provide authoritative leadership to the team, ensuring effective communication, task execution, and adherence to departmental standards.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with guests, particularly regular patrons, and address complaints with utmost efficiency.
  • Oversee all operational aspects, including cashier/bar operations, equipment maintenance, and stock management.
  • Enforce rigorous cleanliness standards and ensure full compliance with F&B sanitation and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all food & beverage services, menu items, and hotel amenities.
  • Implement and maintain stringent health, safety, and security protocols within the outlet.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary/High school education is mandatory.
  • Possession of additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage is highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication in both Thai and English language.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly fluency in other languages and a fundamental comprehension of local dialects, will be considered a significant asset.
  • A minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience in a comparable managerial capacity within the food and beverage industry is required.
  • Extensive working knowledge and practical application of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint is imperative.
  • The role demands an exceptionally high degree of professionalism, coupled with demonstrable expertise in human resources management and a proven track record of sound business acumen.
