Situated in Senayan Square at the South end of Jakarta's Central Business District, Fairmont Jakarta features 380 spacious guestrooms and 108 Fairmont branded Sky Suites. Additional features and amenities to the urban hotel include a number of lounges and several restaurants featuring a variety of culinary offerings. For corporate events and local galas, the hotel features 3,500 square meters of function space, including a 1,200 square-meter Grand Ballroom.

Restaurant Host (All-Day-Dining)

As an All-Day-Dining Restaurant Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting our restaurant, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their dining experience. Your professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a memorable atmosphere for our guests.

Employment will be under local contract. Open for Indonesian citizens only.

What you will be doing:

• Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables.
• Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times, ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty.
• Assist guests with menu recommendations and provide information about food and beverage offerings.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure efficient table utilization and smooth service flow.
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests, ensuring accurate seating and waitlist management.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Ensures the point of sale is prepared to a high standard.
• Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area and lobby.
• Assists the Outlet Manager to ensure smooth coordination between the different departments.

Your experience and skills include:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Host, Hostess, or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or five-star dining establishment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
