Job Description

Are you a dynamic leader ready to shape the future of one of Istanbul premier dining destinations? As the General Manager, you’ll be the face of Mondaine Pariso, leading operations alongside the Executive Chef to create unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll drive innovation, optimize business operations, and inspire a team that delivers excellence. From menu design to team development, your creative vision will set us apart in the competitive dining scene.   • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Mondaine Pariso, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Team Development: Lead, train, and motivate the team to provide outstanding service while fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, develop strategies to optimize revenue, and ensure cost control measures are in place to meet financial targets.
  • Creative Vision: Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B team to develop innovative ideas for the menu, restaurant concepts, and guest experiences.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure the highest standards of service and hospitality, regularly engaging with guests to gain feedback and create memorable dining moments.
  • Marketing and Branding: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and attract a diverse clientele.
  • Operational Strategy: Implement processes to streamline operations, ensure smooth service flow, and maintain consistent quality.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure the restaurant is properly staffed with well-trained professionals, optimizing scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Quality Control: Uphold rigorous standards for food, beverage, and service quality, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, introducing new concepts and offerings that keep Mondaine Pariso at the forefront of the dining scene in İstanbul.
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Work closely with the management team to set budgets, forecast sales, and provide regular reports on the restaurant’s performance.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or upscale restaurant operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Creativity & Innovation: A forward-thinking approach with a passion for developing new concepts, ideas, and experiences that elevate the dining experience.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with the ability to drive profitability while maintaining high service standards.
  • Exceptional Guest Service Focus: A commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience, with the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with guests and within the team, to ensure seamless operations and effective collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities to handle any operational challenges and guest concerns with ease.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food and beverage trends, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Multitasking & Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Passion for Excellence: A genuine passion for hospitality and a dedication to maintaining high standards in both service and operations.
  • Educational Background: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
