Job Description

The Reservations Supervisor turn dreams into reality by developing strong, progressive relationships with guests. You are a bright, personable and proactive thinker who helps complete group and guest bookings for our hotel. Armed with detailed knowledge of our hotel offerings and city highlights, you effortlessly upsell and cross sell our offerings to guests and groups to make their stay a memorable one. Your loyalty driven mindset leads you to quickly identify and adapt your service to our VIPs and ALL guests in order to build our relationships with these valued guests.

Role Foundations:

  • Manage and process group bookings and FITs are part of the day to day operations. 
  • Proactively upsell/cross-sell hotel offerings to guests
  • Communicate and update teams on guest and group requests
  • Verify room allocations according to group/ FIT’s needs and requests
  • Handle any complaints related to reservations
  • Assist with Managing and closing group accounts
  • Oversee training and provide guidance on reservations for new team members.

Qualifications

  • Good product, brand and event knowledge
  • Experience working under time pressure and objectives
  • Experience in upselling/cross-selling
  • Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a similar system
  • Adaptable, reliable and self-motivated
  • Loyalty driven mind-set with the ability to quickly develop rapport and trust
