We are seeking a purchasing and stores guru to ensure our Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour hotels' operations have the supplies they need, when they need it at the right cost!

Job Description

Be the engine behind our hotels' procurement by expertly analysing market demand, managing inventory, and driving cost efficiencies. Your role will involve overseeing stock control, conducting detailed stock takes, and ensuring our stores are meticulously organised and secure. You’ll lead purchasing for food, beverages, and general goods, manage supplier relationships, and support outlet promotions and events. Bring your strategic insight and passion for excellence to optimise operations and boost performance in a fast-paced, dynamic environment!


Qualifications

You will bring the following key skills

  • Expertise in inventory management and stock control
  • Strong analytical skills for cost analysis, menu engineering, and procurement strategy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with suppliers and internal teams.

You will leverage your experience : 

  • in a purchasing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

  • at expert level in a purchasing software (Purchase Plus), Point of Sale (Simphony) and Microsoft 365 suite especially Excel.

  • working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple priorities effectively.
