Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Restaurants & Bars, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all company, property and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Lead and manage the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
  • Manage Execution of Group Events both business and social, including but not limited to; Food & Beverage offerings, set up and execution operating as  direct liaison with Group Contact,
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
  • Coordinate special requests and follow up with Colleagues & Management teams
  • To assist in the recruitment and training of F&B Colleagues
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
  • Work closely with culinary team to ensure a successful service and guest experience
  • forecasting, scheduling and labor control
  • Beverage cost management
  • Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
  • Works without supervision to ensure operation is running efficiently.
  • Assist with preparation of Restaurant Event Orders as directed.
  • Assist with planning and execution of Legacy Events
  • Attend designated meetings
  • Assist with Silverware programming as Champion
  • Assist with obtaining designated Avero reports
  • Assist with TAS
  • Assist with ARM request as needed
  • Assist with corporate compliance in menus and practices
  • Assist with online menu accuracy as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus
  • Manage the departmental budget
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous Food and Beverage Leadership required at AGM or GM level.  2-3 years preferred though not required
  • Adhere to Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Grooming Guidelines
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to manage labor costs
  • Ability to manage Beverage Cost
  • Maintain Beverage inventory
