Job Description

  • Review and update People & Culture policies and procedures and other human resources materials to ensure compliance with human rights standards, anti-discrimination laws, and ethical employment practices.
  • Monitor present and future trends in the local labor situation, social legislation, and human rights regulations; make recommendations to management to ensure fair and equitable workplace practices.
  • Monitor the administration of the Performance Appraisal Program and act in an advisory capacity to department heads, ensuring evaluations are conducted fairly and without bias.
  • Ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and that all employees comply with the hotel policies and procedures as well as government regulations pertaining to employment practice and human rights protection.
  • Prepare and submit periodic People & Culture reports as needed, including metrics on diversity, inclusion, and human rights compliance.
  • Prepare and issue correspondences relating to the People & Culture department with attention to respectful and inclusive communication.
  • Counsel hotel personnel as and when needed in areas such as career planning, employee relations, and conflict resolution, ensuring all interactions uphold human rights principles.
  • Develop and implement recruitment procedures and strategies that attract qualified candidates while promoting diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity for all applicants regardless of protected characteristics.
  • Analyze and plan the hotel manpower requirements with consideration for diverse talent acquisition and inclusive workforce development.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers on the recruitment of qualified personnel based on approval by the divisional head and General Manager, following established standards, policies, procedures, and human rights best practices.
  • Implement and maintain all required programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business, while fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
  • Oversee the organization and execution of employees' social, athletic, and recreational activities that are accessible and welcoming to all team members.
  • Maintain good working relations with all departments and all professional external contacts, promoting a culture of respect and human dignity.
  • Investigate and review all disciplinary actions to ensure the actions comply with labor law, human rights standards, hotel rules and regulations. Discuss with department heads an appropriate action and recommend final results in consultation with Management and Law, ensuring fair and equitable treatment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Hotel Management
  • Minimum 3 years of Human Resources Management experience
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and other HR reporting Tools. 
  • Strong knowledge about the Labor Law and its regulations.

  • Remote Location - Turaif, Saudi Arabia.
