As a Painter-Decorator in our hotels, your primary responsibility is to maintain the aesthetic appeal and physical integrity of the hotel’s interior and exterior surfaces through painting and finishing techniques. With precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, you contribute to creating a visually stunning environment that enhances the guest experience and upholds the hotel’s reputation in hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and decorate various surfaces in the hotel, including walls, ceilings, and furniture.
• Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the hotel.
• Conduct surface preparation tasks such as sanding, filling cracks, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
• Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired look.
• Ensure all work areas are protected and clean up after completing tasks.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize painting and other projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator.
• Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques.
• Ability to work with various tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
