Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Order Taker to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient ordering process for our valued customers. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

  • Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and promotions
  • Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision and efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
  • Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and dietary concerns with care and professionalism
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and company policies
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints promptly and courteously
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food and beverage service or customer service role
  • Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for handling orders and payments
  • In-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of working well in a team
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize orders effectively
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
