Assist in the overnight operations of the Front Office department including lobby and cleaning services and security functions, ensuring that standards are maintained in these areas, efficiency evident and customer’s needs met.
- Provide proficient guest services through the night, assisting with guest requirements.
- Assist with car / hotel doors and guest luggage
- Exercise care and responsibility when parking guest vehicles. Follow procedures set out in manual.
- Ensure messages are delivered with the utmost urgency.
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas.
- Ensure the cleanliness of back of house Hotel areas.
- Prepare and deliver room service during the night
- All guest property in storage, long or short term, duly documented and cared for.
- When guest report lost property take all relevant information and pass on to housekeeping.
- Complete rostered shifts for all porter coverage.
- Where required, assist Night Auditor in the daily reports.
- Carry out security walks around the property
- Confidently assist in emergency procedures
- Support with Housekeeping requests that are received through the night.
- Assist the Lombardi Restaurant team when required.
- Report immediately to the Night Auditor any unusual occurrences or security issues, ensuring incident report is entered.
- Ensure maintenance requests are completed and escalated as appropriate.
- Any other reasonable duties assigned by your manager.
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers (internal or external) are positive and productive.
- Take a positive problem solving approach with issues and concerns; call the Manager on Duty if difficulties arise.
- Previous experience in a luxury or premium hotel preferred
- We’d like someone with an eye for detail, driven to achieving the highest service standards
- We’ll need you to be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- You’ll need to be friendly and engaging, with an ability to communicate effectively.
- Immaculate grooming and personal presentation
- Valid driver's license
- Clean police record
