Your purpose will be:

Are you someone who comes alive when the rest of the world is asleep? Do you enjoy working as a team, tackling challenges, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re currently looking for a Night Auditor to join our Front Office team at Fairmont Cheshire The Mere. This varied role blends guest service, operations, and financial accuracy, ensuring the hotel operates seamlessly overnight while setting everything up for the day ahead. During your shift, you’ll act as the main point of contact for guests, support the overall running of the hotel, and carry out key end-of-day financial tasks.

• Provide operational assistance during the night in the absence of other Departmental Colleagues/Managers in order to ensure seamless delivery of quality service to the standard experienced during the day.
• Completing the end-of-day audit processes across our Property Management and Point of Sale systems
• Acting as the main point of contact for guest queries, late arrivals and early departures
• Preparing guest accounts and ensuring all financial transactions are accurate
• Carrying out regular security checks across the property to ensure guest and staff safety
• Handling calls, reservations enquiries and guest requests during the night
• Supporting other departments where needed to ensure exceptional service at all times

• Front office experience within a luxury hotel setting
• Strong numerical skills for accurate night audits
• Exceptional communication suited to a 5‑star guest experience
• Ability to work independently as the overnight hotel representative
• Knowledge of hotel systems including PMS and POS
• High attention to detail in all guest and financial tasks
• Strong security awareness during property checks
• Availability for night shifts at Fairmont Cheshire The Mere
