We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at ibis Adelaide. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Manage the front desk during overnight shifts, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
• Perform nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and reconciling financial transactions
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
• Conduct regular security rounds to ensure the safety of guests and property
• Coordinate with housekeeping on room status and manage lost and found items
• Generate and distribute daily reports for various departments
• Handle wake-up call requests and other guest services
• Assist in training and supporting team members as needed
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Prior experience in a front office or night audit role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in handling financial transactions and reports
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently
• Awareness of security and emergency protocols in a hotel setting
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
