We are looking for a Membership Sales Manager to play a crucial role in the success of our coworking space! If you get a kick out of surpassing goals and achieving results, then this is the gig for you.


Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Drive and spearhead initiatives to achieve the targets set for membership growth, month on month.
  • Consistently achieve sales goals while also demonstrating genuine hospitality by helping our members, embracing our family, showing attention to detail and delivering genuine hospitality.
  • Respond to incoming membership enquires for membership in lightning speed and follow through all steps of sales process through to close.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, maintain our CRM database and update membership forecast docs each month with consistent accuracy.
  • Manage all 3rd Party sites (Gable, Liquid Space, etc) updating content, managing sales and ensuring proper visibility.
  • Work with General Manager to realize annual growth and revenue targets.
  • Work with General Manager & Brand Team to build out necessary collateral, social media campaigns, etc in order to build brand awareness and help reach sales goals.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with all Private Office leads continuing after sale is complete. Oversee all move in and move out logistics and meet with lead contacts annually.
  • Build strong relationships with the Broker community and organize regular events to engage.
  • Conceptualize, direct and control membership acquisition strategies and programs to recruit targeted industries.
  • Engage with local + national coworking community by attending events to develop industry knowledge, deepen contacts, and build brand awareness.

To infinity and beyond…

  • Build a Membership base which reflects the brand and the diverse community in Chicago, and beyond. Recruit and retain appropriate creative entrepreneurs, SME’s for membership.
  • Be present and available well beyond the sale; assist with move-ins, continually assess membership along with Engagement Manager to ensure relevant industries are well represented within the space, and that the House remains at comfortable capacity.
  • Collect and respond to feedback from members and work across all departments to ensure member satisfaction.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • 3 years’ experience in coworking, hospitality, or previous sales roles
  • A problem solver; you love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions. You don’t get flustered easily. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.
  • A giver; you like helping people. You get a kick out of getting people to those aha! Moments. You are patient, level headed, and cool under pressure. Helping someone makes you feel warm and all fuzzy inside.
  • You love a good excel sheet, you can’t help but write everything down. You pay attention to the details. As far as you’re concerned anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • You think on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. When things change, you know how to roll with the punches.
  • You communicate clearly. You write well. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating in person, in writing and on the phone.
  • You are motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked. You keep knocking on doors well after others give-up. You’re going to take ownership of the time you spend with us and truly make a difference.
  • You believe in sending the elevator back down.
