Maintenance Technician

At Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are currently in the hunt for a Maintenance Technician to join us on a Full Time basis.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in a similar position who can confidently manage a wide range of maintenance tasks. You will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance requests 
• Complete daily plant rounds and identify any equipment that appears faulty or requires repair
• Carry out maintenance on equipment and water reticulation systems to ensure reliability and operational efficiency
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring out-of-order spaces are returned to service promptly
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred
• Be self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team
• Have the ability to work a variety of shifts across the week
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools
