• This position is responsible for all maintenance issues within the Hotel and to deliver an excellent guest experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating projects.
• Assist the Director of Engineering with managing projects including repairs and replacement of plant and equipment including plumbing, air-conditioning, and electrical.
• Manage contractor work requests, inductions and follow up on all work assigned.
• Train and develop members of the handy person & engineering team.
• Prioritise job requests, assign tasks to the team and follow up on completed jobs as required.
• Willing to work weekends and day / afternoon shifts.

• Strong desire to work in a service focused environment with a pro-active approach;
• Leadership and communication skills (verbal, written, and computer);
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations;
• Self-motivated approach and interest to developing yourself through courses
