Kitchen Steward

Full Time opportunity.

• In the engine-room of the kitchen, you’ll provide our inspirational chefs with the vital service of a clean and hygienic space, along with clean crockery. 
• While experience in kitchen environment is preferred, we are ultimately looking for a person with a can-do attitude and who is able to work under pressure and as part of a dedicated team.
• The ability to multi-task and organise your workspace while maintaining cleaning and hygiene standards appropriate to NZ food safety will be key for this role.
• You will need to hold working rights for New Zealand

• This role is physical - you will be on your feet and lifting items so being comfortable with this is imperative
• You will need a strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
• You can work well as part of a team in a fast paced environment, with effective time management skills
• Previous experience in a similar role / hotel environment is advantageous
• The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early morning, late evenings and weekends.
