Kids Activities Attendant

We're seeking an enthusiastic Kids Activities Attendant to join our friendly team at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort! This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences.

Our stunning property boasts a beautiful lagoon pool with a sandy beach, a children’s pool, and Cairns' only swim-up bar. Conveniently located just a short walk from the Esplanade, city center, and Reef Casino, our inviting atmosphere encourages guests to explore local highlights, including the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest.

As a Kids Activities Attendant, you'll have the opportunity to create and lead exciting, interactive activities and programs for the children visiting our hotel. We are seeking passionate, energetic individuals who are fully available on weekends and during school holidays to ensure our young guests have memorable experiences. Your role will be instrumental in helping families create lasting memories during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and lead a diverse range of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, and educational workshops.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children by following proper supervision protocols.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive environment where children can play, learn, and socialize with others.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on activities and addressing any specific needs or concerns.
• Work closely with other hotel team members to coordinate logistics and ensure the smooth running of the kids' holiday program.

• Full availability on weekends and during school holiday periods, and the ability to work flexible hours
• Previous experience working with children in day-care, camp, or educational setting preferred.
• Must hold a blue card recognised by the state of Queensland
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality, with genuine passion for working with kids.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and Frist Aid certifications would be highly beneficial
