In Room Dining Cashier (Seasonal, April to October)

At Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory. As an In-Room Dining Cashier providing warm service, efficiency and knowledge of our menu offerings to both guests and Colleagues, you will add value to every transaction!

Starting Rate of Pay: $16.67 per hour

Your Job Duties Include:

• Answer phones and assist guests in placing orders, up selling when appropriate
• Co-ordinate and organize daily amenities to ensure they are delivered accurately
• Take an active role with the training and development of new and existing staff
• Assist and perform server duties/functions as required
• Expedite orders and delegate calls to servers
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Log, track and distribute gratuities to servers
• Other duties as assigned  

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum 1 year Food and Beverage experience required within the last 2 years
• Previous leadership experience required
• Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% and above.
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License is required
• Pro Serve certificate required
• Previous Point of Sale System is required
• Previous In Room Dining service experience is an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
