Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a team while contributing to the overall success of our hospitality operations.

  • Oversee and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality standards
  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service and maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and brand guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and cost-effective usage
  • Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly
  • Implement and maintain health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
  • Create and manage staff schedules, assigning tasks and responsibilities effectively
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, taking appropriate action to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to housekeeping operations
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve housekeeping processes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Superior attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of housekeeping management software
  • Familiarity with inventory management and supply ordering processes
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management education is a plus
