We are looking for a Housekeeping Order Taker to join the pre-opening of SLS The Red Sea.

Ennismore, with its luxury brand SLS Hotels, is currently opening a magnificent project in the oasis that is The Red Sea. SLS The Red Sea is planned to open in 2025.

Introducing the newest gem of dazzling luxury to reach The Red Sea project: resort offers 150 luxurious keys, complemented by an impressive array of 7 distinct Food & Beverage outlets and a rejuvenating spa sanctuary. Catering to both adults seeking a getaway and families craving connection and some adventure, this hotel brings a wonderland of extraordinary experiences to The Red Sea, providing an array of amenities and activities tailored for travelers of all ages.

Job Description

  1. To attend and handle all guest requests received for internal services, as per the hotel standards and procedures.
  2. To answer and handle calls, wake-up calls and messages, properly using the telephone etiquettes and SLS standards.
  3. To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay being offered the finest personal service.
  4. To respect the privacy of the guests and the confidentiality of the information.
  5. To set-up inventory and monitor supplies and other commodities upon guest requests.
  6. To update the above items’ availability and order requirements in accordingly with prior approval.
  7. To be aware of and to follow emergency and security procedures.
  8. To fulfill all administrative tasks, housekeeping office coordination and filing.
  9. To respect key handling procedures.
  10. To coordinate with all departments as per guests and operational needs.
  11. To inform concerned division or department heads whenever a matter is delayed or not solved
  12. To manage the departmental attendance and rosters in the payroll system and follow up with paymaster for any staff queries.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer related experience an asset
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Previous Opera experience an asset
  • High communication skills verbal and written. Perfect use of English. Command of Arabic will be considered and important asset.
