Job Description

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
 
1.1.1 Executes all carpenting and associated work to the highest professional standards for the whole complex 
1.1.2 Administration of Accommodation office 
1.1.3 Overview daily cleaning of public areas, liaise with contractors and third party suppliers on housing issues or inquires, complaints  
1.1.4 Follow up on housing maintenance requests.  
1.1.5 Assist Supervisor and Manager in conducting regular accommodation inspections to ensure that all aspects of the accommodation meet hygiene and health and safety regulations 
1.1.6 Help in escorting employees to/from Airport when required. Ensure all new arriving employees  receive full orientation on accommodation rules and regulations and are aware of all policies and  procedures 
1.1.7  Manage stock and order supplies 
1.1.8 Plan the availability of accommodation for employees, based on nationality, gender, position, and  arrival date and coordinate the allocation of accommodation  
1.1.9 Maintain a safe environment, keep the peace, and act on any actual or potential violations of  policies or law. Provide feedback to Accommodation Manager on accommodation incidents  
1.1.10  Together with Employee Relations Manager coordinate employee engagement activities in  accommodation 1.1.11 Prepare flyers and posters for HR events and activities.  
 
GENERAL / MISCELLANEOUS 
1.1.11 Inform the Director of Human Resources regarding important events and news from within the  hotel operation to avoid misunderstandings and rumours/gossip. 
1.1.12 Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational  Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility. 
1.1.13 Other duties as assigned 
 


Qualifications

              Experience: Minimum one year’ experience in a administrative role 
               in a hotel/resort/accommodation                                 
                         Other: Must good communication skills; attention to detail, speed 
                         and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, 
                         remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment;  
                         customer service skills; follow directions thoroughly; understand a 
                         guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a 
                         team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of 
                         information and pertinent hotel data; a good understanding of the 
                         industry. Computer literate and familiarity with MS Office  
                         products. Can speak, read and write English, with fluency in other 
                         languages preferred.  
                         Physical Requirements:   Must be able to exert physical effort in 
                         transporting, endure various physical movements       
                         throughout the  work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary 
                         at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate 
                         with colleagues  co-workers to their understanding.
