Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of building maintenance for our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings are well-maintained, safe, and operational. You will lead a team of maintenance staff, coordinate with external contractors, and develop maintenance schedules to ensure that all systems and equipment are functioning properly. Your role will also involve budgeting, procurement of maintenance supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be expected to conduct regular inspections, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to prevent downtime and costly repairs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, preparing reports, and providing recommendations for improvements. Responsibilities

  •  Oversee and manage all aspects of building maintenance.
  •  Develop and implement maintenance schedules.
  •  Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff.
  •  Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs.
  •  Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  •  Conduct regular inspections of facilities.
  •  Identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
  •  Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of supplies.
  •  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  •  Prepare and present maintenance reports.
  •  Provide recommendations for facility improvements.
  •  Ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly.
  •  Implement preventive maintenance programs.
  •  Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  •  Train and develop maintenance staff.
  •  Monitor and evaluate the performance of maintenance staff.
  •  Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  •  Coordinate with other departments for maintenance needs.

  •  Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas.

Qualifications

Requirements

  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance management.
  •  Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  •  Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  •  Knowledge of building systems and equipment.
  •  Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.
  •  Ability to manage budgets and procurement processes.
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in maintenance management software.
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Strong attention to detail.
