    Ready to showcase your creativity and passion for hairstyling? From crafting stunning updos for special events to keeping up with the latest trends in cuts and colors, this role offers an exciting opportunity to unleash your talent and elevate our guests' style journey in the heart of Banff.

    Starting Rate: $16.55

    We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $17.55

    Job Duties Include:  

    • Perform bridal and special event updos and styles
    • Perform ladies, men’s and children’s hair cuts, and wash and style including current trends in highlights, permanent/semi-permanent colour services
    • Make product recommendations and participate in incentives and retail goal setting
    • Assist in inventory and ordering of supplies and participate in on-going in-house and out-of-house training opportunities in our product lines 
    • Maintain a professional environment in the salon, cleaning/stocking
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Your Skills & Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years hair dressing / styling experience required
    • Related Hair Stylist certification
    • Red Seal or Hairstyling license
    • Make up training / experience an asset
    • Must be able to lift and carry 20+lbs and be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
