As part of the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex, the deluxe Swissotel Makkah is a contemporary five-star hotel located in close proximity to the holy Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the Ka’aba and the Grand Mosque. Swissôtel Makkah is part of a new urban development, including two restaurants, one executive lounge, two meeting rooms and a business center. It has private entrances that make it easier for pilgrims to reach Al Masjid Al Haram.

The hotel offers 1624 elegant rooms and suites with modern design, complementing the values of today’s Arab culture.As part of the prestigious Abraj Al Bait complex, the deluxe Swissôtel Al Maqam is a contemporary five-star hotel located in close proximity to the holy Masjid Al Haraam, overlooking the Ka’aba and the Grand Mosque.Swissôtel Al Maqam is part of a new urban development, including a restaurant, one executive lounge, two meeting rooms and a business center. Job Description

Reports to: Cluster Digital Marketing Manager, Group Director of Marketing & Communications, The Group Digital Marketing Assistant Manager will oversee digital marketing strategies for Swissôtel Makkah and Swissôtel Al Maqam. This data-driven role focuses on SEM (SEO, SEA), social media, and analytics, contributing to one of Saudi Arabia's top marketing teams. The ideal candidate should excel in managing parallel campaigns, optimizing strategies with data, and have a deep understanding of social media algorithms. Collaboration with the e-commerce team for website updates is also required. A background in digital projects, startups, or entrepreneurship is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement SEO, SEA, and social media strategies, optimizing keywords, tags, and hashtags to maximize organic discovery and AI-driven content promotion.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and collaborate with the PR & Communications and Marketing teams to create keyword-driven content.
  • Create meticulously planned content calendars together with Digital Marketing Managers and PR & Communications, tailored to each social media platform, and ensure the posting schedule aligns with strategic goals for engagement and growth.
  • Manage parallel campaigns across different stages of the marketing funnel for maximum performance and engagement.

2. Collaboration with E-Commerce and Web Teams:

  • Work closely with the e-commerce team to optimize brand.com performance and boost conversions.
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers, as well as UX designers, to continuously improve user experience and conversion rates.

3. Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies based on real-time data insights.

4. Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in SEO, social media algorithms, and digital marketing trends.
  • Experiment with new tools, platforms, and techniques to uncover and implement high-impact digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Completion of relevant courses in marketing, digital marketing, and technical areas such as SEO, coding, and data analysis is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience, focusing on SEO, SEA, SEM, and social media.
  • 7+ years of continuous involvement in side projects, startups, or entrepreneurial initiatives.
  • Proven experience in building digital communities and managing digital campaigns.
  • Successful examples of marketing on X.com (formerly Twitter), Snapchat and TikTok are highly preferred.
  • Experience with game design, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop is an asset.
  • Web3 marketing experience is a plus.
  • Tech startup co-founder experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Extensive gaming experience across genres is a bonus.
  • Requirement: The candidate must have grown an Instagram or TikTok page to over 10,000 followers organically and be able to document the process.
