Company Description

As Global Director of Marketing Operations for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will play a critical role in operationalizing the brand’s global marketing strategy and ensuring the seamless delivery of world-class guest experiences across our portfolio of nearly 100 hotels.

In this role, you will lead the execution of global brand partnerships and guest-facing activations. You will work in close partnership with the Global Director of Partnerships and Brand team to translate strategic collaborations into fully realized, on-property experiences that reflect Fairmont’s heritage, brand pillars, and commitment to luxury service.

You will serve as the central orchestrator of execution excellence - building processes, toolkits, and operational frameworks that empower regional and property teams to deliver consistently exceptional experiences.

 


Job Description

Global Marketing Operations & Brand Activation

  • Lead the global operational rollout of Fairmont’s brand strategy, ensuring clear guidance, alignment, and adoption across all regions and properties.
  • Develop and maintain execution toolkits, SOPs, implementation guides, and communication frameworks that support consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure all activations reinforce Fairmont’s luxury positioning and enhance the guest experience at every touchpoint.

Partnership Activation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Global Director of Partnerships to convert strategic partnerships into operationally sound, guest-facing experiences.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of partner activations, co-branded programs, and experiential initiatives across the global portfolio.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for cross-functional teams and property leaders, ensuring all partner requirements, deliverables, and standards are met.

On-Property Experience Delivery

  • Collaborate with hotel operations, guest experience, F&B, and events teams to integrate marketing activations seamlessly into daily operations.
  • Provide properties with clear operational guidance, staffing recommendations, briefing tools, and training support.
  • Maintain a strong focus on guest impact, ensuring all marketing activities elevate the Fairmont experience.

Project Management

  • Lead multi-market, multi-stakeholder marketing projects with rigorous project management discipline.
  • Establish timelines, workflows, governance structures, and reporting tools that ensure timely, on-budget, and on-brand execution.
  • Coordinate inputs from global, regional, and property teams—ensuring alignment and removing barriers to execution.

Performance, Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Create and manage dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures to monitor performance of global activations and partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, process improvement, and enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Implement scalable solutions that improve consistency and execution quality across the network.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or hotel operations, brand activations, or guest experience, ideally within luxury hospitality or luxury lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success operationalizing strategic partnerships and executing complex, multi-market initiatives.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Deep understanding of luxury guest experience standards and hotel operations.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working in large, matrixed global organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information

  • Salary Range: The Ontario base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience and/or work location.
