Are you ready to lead a dynamic team as General Manager, at one of Sydney's most iconic destinations?  Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour, nestled in the heart of the city's vibrant waterfront precinct, offers a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class hospitality experience. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement in one of Australia's most iconic locations. This role oversees 2 hotels in the Darling Harbour precinct, and we are looking for an experienced leader with previous experience in a large hotel or multi-hotel operation preferable. 

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, and a strong business acumen. With your strategic vision and operational expertise, you will drive revenue growth, implement innovative initiatives, and uphold the Novotel and ibis brand standards. Your responsibilities will also include: 

• Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of hospitality professionals, fostering their individual growth and contributing to the business's overall success. 

• Develop and execute strategic plans aimed at boosting revenue, streamlining operations, and elevating the guest experience. 

• Provide support to all departments to ensure the attainment of operational targets and alignment with organisational goals. 

• Oversee marketing and sales initiatives to optimise occupancy rates and revenue generation. 

• Champion employee engagement initiatives, nurturing a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists to thrive. 

A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration would be highly regarded. 

About You 

• A minimum of five years of experience in hotel general management is required. 

• Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering outstanding financial results. 

• Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs 

• Passionate to develop self and others 

• Clear communication, creating impactful relationships with your team 

• Fosters a positive owner relationship while and maximising performance
