We are looking for a passionate talent with former General Manager experience in hospitality, to lead the operations of Mercure Budapest City Center, a four-star Accor hotel under the Mercure brand in Budapest.

This unique property is located in the heart of Budapest in Váci street, near Vörösmarty square, offering 239 rooms, a Winestone restaurant & bar, 5 well-equipped meeting rooms  - suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Successful management of a four-star Accor hotel, operated under Mercure brand via Hotel Management Agreement.
• Strengthen the hotel’s market position, search and identify new business opportunities; build up long-term business relationships.
• Plan and manage the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, talents, corporate, owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
• Be the heart of the hotel and lead by example; create a positive, team-oriented working environment.

• At least 5 years’ experience in Hotel General Manager position
• Strong operational background
• Outstanding sales acumen, commercial mindset
• Fluency in English language
• Hungarian language knowledge is a competitive advantage
• Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
• Leadership, autonomy
• Service and quality minded character
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and team management skills
• Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
