Located in the centre of Melbourne, ibis Budget Melbourne CBD is the perfect destination for guests to experience all that Melbourne has to offer! With our 146 guest rooms we are the basecamp four our guests urban adventures. We are currently seeking part time Front Office Supervisour to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take the helm and guide the front office’s day-to-day operations with expertise
- Lead the Front Office Team like a mentor, nurturing growth and skill-building in a supportive atmosphere
- Collaborate with guests, extending a helping hand to find solutions for any challenges that may arise
- Contribute to roster planning and preparation
- Embrace authenticity and let your unique self-shine in every shift
- Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
- Taking initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with our customers.
- Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guest details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
- Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure by checking in and out guests as required.
- Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
- Attending to guests' requests efficiently and effectively to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Your skills and experience include:
- A background in Hotel Operations, ideal for someone eager to take the next stride towards a leadership position
- Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and preferably in Opera Cloud
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask and think on your feet to quickly resolve issues is required
- Strong communication skills and pride in personal presentation
- A genuine customer service focus and a strong dedication to always making our guest’s smile during their stay
- Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Valid Australian working rights
