Job Description

  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.

  • Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel’s booking system.

  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications via phone, email, and in person.

  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and directions.

  • Manage guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing accurately.

  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and lobby area.

  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

  • Follow hotel security procedures and ensure guest confidentiality.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (preferred).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Proficiency in using hotel software systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, or similar).

  • Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, email, internet).

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
