Front Office Executive - Hotel Aeschi Park - Handwritten Collection

Accor are incredibly proud to announce that in late Q2/Q3 2026 (exact date to be confirmed) , Handwritten Collection will open the doors of Hotel Aeschi Park located in Aeschi bei Speiz, Switzerland – a distinctive new destination that reflects the authentic character, and individuality at the heart of our brand.
With 40 hotel bedrooms in total, our new Handwritten hotel is located in the centre of the scenic Aeschi bei Spiez in Canton Bern. Situated in a breathtaking panoramic setting near to the shores of Lake Thun and just 16 km from Interlaken, Hotel Aeschi Park enjoys a prime location with easy access to the renowned ski resorts of Wengen and Grindelwald, as well as an extensive network of hiking trails.
We are looking for an exceptional, experienced Hotel Manager and entrepreneur who will oversee the pre-opening phase, the hotel opening and the positioning in the market of this unique hotel, which will include bar, restaurant and leisure facilities.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a hotel within our Handwritten Collection which is defined by a genuinely human approach to hospitality – bespoke in its character and guided by the warmth and personality of a passionate host. As a driven and open-minded leader, you embrace creativity and change, positioning the hotel as the preferred address and number one choice in its market.
Your initial focus will be to support the General Manager with pre-opening phase, where you will lay the strategic and operational foundations for long-term success. You will support with establishing a strong market presence, define the hotel’s positioning, and support in the following areas:
- Guest experience delivery aligned with the unique identity of the hotel and Handwritten Collection brand
- Execution of the brand initiatives within front office operations
- Front office team engagement, motivation and service culture leadership
- Seamless front desk operations and consistently high service quality
- Rooms focused, with proactive upselling and seasonal offer awareness
- Contribution to departmental performance targets and front office revenue growth
- Completion of training as a hotel specialist, a degree or background in hospitality, tourism or related field is preferred
- Extensive professional experience, including working in a reception department
- Fluent in German and English language, any other language skills are a benefit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A guest centric approach
- Knowledge of the local market is beneficial
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office and front-office computer systems, experience with hotel management software is a plus (Oracle, Opera Cloud etc)
- You should be eligible to fulfill the requirements for a work permit in Switzerland.

- Deliver warm, personalised check-in and check-out experiences that reflect the spirit of Handwritten Collection.
- Provide attentive front office service with a strong focus on the overall guest experience
- Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with care, confidence and professionalism
- Promote rooms and seasonal offers through confident upselling and guest-focused recommendations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel, with a room driven focus, and local area knowledge to enrich the guest stay
- Support smooth day-to-day hotel operations through a flexible, team-focused approach
