Job Description

Your daily mission will include:

  • Hands on supervision and coordination of the team to ensure all tasks and service standards are met in line with 5-star expectations.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional food and beverage service, including order taking and upselling through product knowledge and suggestive selling.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all service areas, ensuring compliance with food safety practices.
  • Manage workflow and delegate tasks effectively within your designated section to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining brand standards.
  • Support training and development of team members to enhance skills and performance.
  • Communicate clearly with the team and other departments, including handovers and shift briefings.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as rostering, stock control, and reporting as required.

Qualifications

Your experience, skills and qualifications include:

  • A qualification in Hospitality or related field would be highly beneficial.
  • Proven solid experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant (minimum 3 years).
  • Experience leading small teams is an advantage.
  • Previous exposure to a variety of service styles such as à la carte, bar, banquets, and events is valued.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) in South Australia. RP is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
