Job Description

Scope of Position:

The Finance Supervisor oversees all financial activities of the hotel, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position plays a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, contributing to the overall success of the hotel.                                      

Summary of Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review financial reconciliations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reports.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, including general cashier, accounts payable, and accounts receivable personnel.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure high-quality work and professional development.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Review/Prepare journal entries and adjustments.

Audit Support:

  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Provide auditors with necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure audit findings are addressed promptly.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure that all Accor Policy and procedure are implemented by the Hotel

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies in the finance department.

Other:

  • Any other task that might be allocated to you by the Hotel.

Qualifications

  • Prior hotel accounts dept experience; preferably in Accounts Receivables and Cashiering
