Job Description

COME AS YOU ARE & DO WHAT YOU LOVE...

We’re on the hunt for a sharp, detail-driven and people-focused Finance Officer to join our growing Finance team. You’ll be the numbers wiz behind the scenes who helps keep the show running smoothly, supporting our operations, liaising with suppliers, and partnering with department leaders to ensure financial clarity across the hotel.

This isn’t your average back-office finance job. You’ll be part of a creative, fast-paced environment where your work matters and your personality shines. You know your numbers, but you also know how to build relationships, work autonomously and take initiative.

What your day might look like:

  • You’ll manage end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable with laser-sharp accuracy;
  • You’ll process invoices, reconcile payments, and ensure vendors are paid on time; every time;
  • You’ll partner with internal teams to manage payroll, rosters, and ensure award compliance;
  • You’ll help keep us audit ready with strong reporting, reconciliations and financial controls;
  • You’ll liaise with suppliers and stakeholders with professionalism, integrity, and warmth;
  • You’ll contribute to cash handling, banking and monthly close processes.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • You’ve got at least 1 year of experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally in hospitality or a similar industry;
  • A confident communicator who loves systems, spreadsheets, and staying organised;
  • Someone who knows their way around GST, ATO, Fair Work, and award compliance;
  • A team player who’s reliable, trustworthy, and proactive under pressure;
  • Bonus points if you’ve got experience with large hotel systems or multi-site operations.
