Job Description

Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:             

Responsibilities

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • To monitor maintenance of the physical Fairmont Gold product
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas, ensuring follow up is completed
  • Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
  • Personalize service with guests during their time in the lounge
  • Assist when needed with all areas of Fairmont Gold operation
  • Audit Front Desk operations to ensure all service standards are practiced
  • Audit cleanliness of all lounge areas, including food service areas and storage
  • Attend meetings in Fairmont Gold Manager’s absence
  • Complete all ordering for Attendant/lounge operations
  • Monitor and report food consumption and waste
  • Ensure food and service standards are being maintained
  • Maintain strong relationships and communication with Kitchens and other teams to ensure all guest needs are met
  • Train all new colleagues joining the team
  • To follow department policies, procedures and service standards according to Forbes and Michelin Key standards
  • To follow all safety policies 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Physical Demands

This position requires:

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Required Education and Experience

  • Previous guest service experience required
  • Previous Property Management System experience required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
