Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented F&B Executive to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. You will lead a talented team while maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, beverage service, and customer engagement.   • Supervise, plan, coordinate, and control all F&B department activities, ensuring seamless operations across all outlets
  • Maintain strict adherence to standard recipes and quality standards for all beverages and food items prepared and served
  • Address guest complaints, requests, and inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring maximum satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develop and motivate team members to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture that promotes teamwork and professional growth
  • Establish and maintain effective coordination with all departments to maximize cooperation, productivity, and guest service excellence
  • Train team members on established procedures, safety protocols, and best practices in food handling and service standards
  • Analyze and optimize resource utilization to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and service standards
  • Prepare and maintain accurate F&B inventory journals, opening and closing stock records, and requisitions in accordance with established par stock levels
  • Upgrade and stay current with industry trends, innovative practices, and new equipment in food and beverage preparation and service
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives, seasonal menus, special promotions, and festival offerings to drive sales volume and revenue growth
  • Ensure daily setup of equipment and mise-en-place arrangements in compliance with service policies and operational standards
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of wines, cocktails, beverage mixing techniques, and diverse cuisines to guide team and enhance guest experiences
  • Monitor cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of bar counters, cabinets, shelves, service pantries, and all operational areas
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, financial planning, and performance metrics to support organizational profitability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and all organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Hotel Management Degree or Diploma
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant F&B operations or supervisory experience in a hospitality setting
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and oral communication)
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and contribute collaboratively
  • Service-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented professional approach
  • Professional presentation and grooming standards at all times
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Experience with F&B inventory management and cost control

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Additional certifications in Food & Beverage management or hospitality
  • Knowledge of local languages and understanding of Chennai's culinary market
  • Working knowledge of wines, cocktails, and beverage mixing techniques
  • Experience with vendor management and supplier relationships
  • Proficiency with F&B management software or point-of-sale systems
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Experience in revenue optimization and sales growth initiatives
