Job Description

A Career that Lets Your Passion Shine - This key leadership role oversees the strategic and operational direction of Housekeeping, elevating the guest experience through flawless presentation, high-performing teams, and strong brand alignment. You will drive guest satisfaction, sustainability, operational excellence, and team engagement, all in line with Sofitel’s art de vivre.

  • Lead end-to-end Housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, heart of house and back of house environments
  • Drive measurable improvements in guest satisfaction scores, online reputation metrics, and LQA audit outcomes
  • Lead daily operations including room allocations, inspections, VIP preparation, turndown service, and public area management with a strong on-floor presence
  • Develop, coach and retain a high-performing leadership team and workforce of both internal ambassadors and contractors
  • Foster a culture of accountability, pride and recognition to support retention and long-term team engagement
  • Optimise labour, budgets and productivity while protecting luxury standards
  • Maintain asset care, linen management and inventory control at premium level
  • Ensure WHS, hygiene and compliance standards are upheld without compromise
  • Champion sustainability initiatives aligned with Accor commitments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless, elevated guest journeys, and efficent room turnaround
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovation, technology utilisation, and process optimisation without compromising luxury standards

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior Housekeeping leader within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of luxury brand standards, guest expectations, and LQA requirements
  • Demonstrated success in driving guest satisfaction, quality audits, and operational excellence
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development, retention, and engagement
  • Financial acumen with experience managing departmental budgets, labour costs, and productivity
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance operational detail with long-term vision
  • Hands-on, visible leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of sustainable housekeeping practices and commitment to environmentally responsible operations
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality, housekeeping management, or leadership (desirable but not essential)
