We are seeking a visionary and analytical Engineering Executive to join our team at ibis Styles Mysuru, India. As the Engineering Executive, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the engineering operations, ensuring optimal performance of all systems and equipment while driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Develop and implement strategic plans for engineering operations, aligning with organizational goals and objectives
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all engineering systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and maximize productivity
• Analyze and optimize engineering processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring cost-effective use of materials and equipment
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices, implementing innovative solutions where appropriate
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners
• Lead and participate in engineering projects, from conception to completion
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree in Engineering Management or related field preferred
• Proven experience in engineering management or a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of engineering systems, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management methodologies; PMP certification is a plus
• Experience with budgeting and financial management in an engineering context
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to address engineering concerns
