ABOUT THE ROLE

• Assist the Director of Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer in coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the Engineering Department.
• Schedule and monitor maintenance activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
• Track and manage maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers, ensuring all external work is completed according to resort standards.
• Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including coordinating meetings, training sessions, and team schedules and record keeping.
• Monitor and support compliance with safety regulations, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance programs.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position in an international luxury brand, Maldives’ work experience is preferred.
• Proficient in English.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Experience working with ACCOR on sustainability-related initiatives is highly desirable.
• Experience using maintenance management software and digital reporting tools., ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
• Excellent communications & leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.
• Strong multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
