Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

DJ (Seasonal)

The DJ is responsible for delivering high-quality music experiences that enhance guest enjoyment and create a vibrant atmosphere. The role involves curating music playlists, interacting with guests, and ensuring that sound systems are set up and functioning properly during performances and events.

• Curate music playlists and sets that align with the property’s ambiance, guest preferences, and specific events.
• Perform live DJ sets at venues such as bars, lounges, pool areas, or during special events.
• Set up, test, and operate DJ equipment, sound systems, and lighting.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of sound throughout performances.
• Engage with guests to take music requests and create an inclusive, enjoyable experience.
• Promote a positive and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and entertained.
• Work closely with hotel management to ensure that the music complements the brand and guest expectations.
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events by providing insight into music and entertainment trends.
• Stay updated on the latest music trends, ensuring a wide variety of genres are available to suit the hotel's diverse clientele.
• Regularly update playlists to keep the entertainment fresh and engaging.

• Proven experience as a DJ, ideally within hotels, resorts, or event venues.
• Formal DJ training or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Certification in audio or sound engineering (optional).
• Proficiency with DJ software (e.g., Serato, Traktor, Pioneer) and mixing equipment.
• A wide knowledge of music genres, from classics to current hits, and the ability to adapt to various audiences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Technical skills in sound and audio equipment setup and troubleshooting.
