• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and performance metrics.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
• Oversee the purchasing team, providing leadership, guidance, and development opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and industry best practices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations and meet business objectives.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize cash flow and minimize stockouts.
