Director of Operations

Fairmont Tokyo - the first Fairmont in Japan is slated to open July 2025. Located on the upper floors of the South Tower of the Shibaura Project, Fairmont Tokyo offers easy access to business, culture, and well-being amenities as well as Haneda International Airport and Hamamatsucho Railway Station. The property will offer 217 guest rooms including a range of suites, five restaurants and bars including 2 outdoor Terrace on level 35, a spa, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, meeting rooms, banquet facilities, a sky chapel and a hotel boat to elevate the guest experience. 

Joining the pre-opening team 1-year prior opening, the successful candidate will be heading the operations of the hotel. In absence of General Manager, the Director of Operations will serve as a Deputy to oversee the complete operations of the hotel. 

1. Existing experience as a Director of Operations for minimum 2-3 years.
2. Strong F&B background with proven success in developing new concepts and managing both operational and financial side of the business. 
3. Having done an opening would be very beneficial but is not mandatory. 
4. Having an understanding and experience to work with various cultures, especially in Asia.
