Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Operation with a strong rooms background to join our prestigious hotel in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our rooms division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize rooms division performance and profitability
  • Lead and inspire a team of managers and staff across front office, housekeeping, and guest services departments
  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze financial data, manage budgets, and implement cost-control measures to maximize revenue
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative practices to enhance guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and performance
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for the rooms division
  • Resolve complex guest issues and maintain positive guest relations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; Master's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in hotel operations, with a proven track record in rooms division management
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization
  • Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, industry trends, and best practices
  • Experience in luxury or upscale hotels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of the local hospitality market in Saudi Arabia is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous
