Job Description

As Director of Food & Beverage, you will lead and support the Food and Beverage Operations in the entire hotel as business demands to create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide operational leadership and direction for the day to day operations of all the Food and Beverage Outlets (Chez Collette Restaurant, Liberte Lounge, Room Service and Banquets) and any other assigned Outlet with a focus on tailor-made service for each and every guest and profitability of every Outlet.
  • Strategically lead the successful repositioning of the newly upgraded 'Urban Chic' Liberte Lounge. 
  • Support, mentor, and coach your Food & Beverage leaders and teams to maintain luxury engagement.
  • Manage, create and support a welcoming and personalized experience for all our guests and patrons. 
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained with highest standard of quality and HAACP standards are adhered to.
  • Handle guest concerns and respond promptly providing a suitable service recovery remedy and notifying all appropriate parties where necessary.
  • Coordinate and manage all F&B administrative tasks to include recruitment, payroll, scheduling, paperwork, reports, Audit preparation documentation, etc. and any other assigned special projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all leadership, the team and other departments.
  • Improve menus and offerings to meet and exceed guests expectations and dining experiences.
  • Manage overall F&B management responsibilities as needed and lead your team of manager and Heartists.
  • Follow all department policies, procedures and service standards and lead by example. 

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • At least 3-5 years of previous Food and Beverage leadership experience in a similar role in a luxury setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
  • Luxury service focused personality and a passion for everything Food and Beverage.
  • Proactive, with a demonstrated eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple functions, while meeting deadlines.
  • Previous F&B point of sale system experience required, preferably Silverware.

Visa Requirements:  Must be legally eligible to work in United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining US work authorization.
