Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Guest Services to join our hotel in Jaipur, India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of guest services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving operational excellence.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead and inspire a team of guest service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure the smooth daily operations of the hotel by coordinating  effortlessly across key departments, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Engineering departments.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance of the guest services division.
  • Stay current with industry trends and implement innovative guest service initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle high-profile guests and resolve complex guest issues.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and foster relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Hotel Administrator) preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in hospitality management, with a proven track record in guest services leadership roles
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a talent for motivating and developing staff
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and technologies
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience in budget management
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality operations, standards, and best practices
  • Understanding of Indian hospitality market trends and cultural nuances
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and/or other Indian languages will be an advantage
