As F&B Director for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, you will report to the SVP Food & Beverage Sofitel MGallery Emblems (SMgE) and will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of La Maison Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems F&B strategy, measurement of results, and contribution of various projects.

Hotels in La Maison currently count 923 F&B venues across more than 240 hotels globally.

Food & Beverage covers eating and/or drinking outlets (restaurants, bars, pool-side venues and the like), entertainment venues (nightclubs, kids club, golf house and the like), room service, mini bar, and event catering (MICE events, out-catering and the like). 

Keys to the success of this role is the ability to collaborate closely across hotel operations, D&TS, development, finance, loyalty teams and other members of the Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems organization. As well as building trusted business partnerships in all manner of relations, including owners, Suppliers, our team of craftsman (chefs who we identifying as being leaders of specific culinary techniques) culinary institutions and improving the operational efficiency while enhancing La Maison standards.

You will be based in Paris.

Here are the main missions you will be performing:

  • Development and Renovations:
    • Support the development team to present F&B&E projects and concepts to new potential owners
    • Develop new F&B concepts, provide the ensemble of services, support and solutions to hotels including 3rd parties in the framwork of TableManners
  • Support strategic hotels: manage F&B projects and closely monitor financial impact to have a positive impact on the overall F&B margins of our key hotels
  • Support guest experience on key focus areas of each brand such as breakfast, bar, in room dining, to elevate the standards and consistency with hotels
  • Support Brand in deploying strategic partnerships to support brand elevation and positioning in Food & Beverage (such as Haute Croissanterie and World Cocktail Month)
  • Training, standards, sustainability and talent development: support La Maison CSR ambitions in regards to food waste

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role

  • Five-years’ experience in F&B Operations or a similar role.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Creative and clearly communicates plans to deliver goals.
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven relation management.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative, and highly hands-on.
  • Highly oriented toward business success, with a strong focus on quality.
  • HACCP qualified.
