Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team and bring flair, precision, and consistency to every plate. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the pastry section, delivering high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods that align with our standards and elevate the overall guest experience. From crafting elegant plated desserts to producing fresh breads and sweet treats, you’ll balance creativity with strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Working closely with the broader kitchen team, you’ll contribute to menu development, manage daily production, and ensure efficient operations through effective planning and organisation. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, controlling costs, minimising wastage, and supporting the training and development of junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Formal culinary qualification in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a professional kitchen
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working in HACCP-compliant kitchens, with a clear understanding of food safety standards and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods with consistency and attention to detail
  • Experience in cost control and minimising wastage
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to train and support junior team members
